I believe every human has the capacity for joy, but it might be hidden under issues which have developed. Together we can explore those issues, and free you to experience your true self again.
I am an avid believer in the healing power of nature. Our increasing use of technology has left us feeling disconnected, depressed, and anxious. While technology is an important tool, it comes with a downside. Nature reminds us of the best parts of ourselves.
I have a BA in Psychology from Hunter College and a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. I am an LSW (Licensed Social Worker) in New Jersey and an LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) in New York. I volunteer as a Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, as a member of the Medical Reserve Corps, as a member of the County Animal Response Team, and as a board member of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking. In the past I have volunteered with survivors of sexual and domestic violence for RAINN and the Mt. Sinai SAVI program.
Iām a yoga practitioner and avid hiker. I love traveling, especially to the Tropics. I enjoy knitting, reading, horror movies, and many outdoor activities. I love all animals, especially cats!
